Welcome to the Assault Force Dragons website! We hope you enjoy your stay, and feel free to browse around and register in our FORUMS. The Assault Force Dragons *AFD* were formed in September of 2003 and is commanded by manOwar, Traider, and DeathDealer as commanding officers of the Assault Force Dragons. We''re currently RECRUITING for anyone interested in Call of Duty 4 (COD4) and Modern Warfare 2. New applicants must be team oriented, able to participate in our public servers at least a couple times a week. We have plenty of room available for both competition gamers as well as casual gamers interested in just pubbing the servers. We're currently involved in TeamWarfare competing in competition ladders, this is a great time to get involved with a team who's been around many years. There is plenty of room for advancement for the right individuals.

Back Story	The battle for Port Valdez is fought alongside the waterline towards a great oil industrial landscape in the Alaskan mountains. Using basically everything they've got the Russian forces are launching an airborne assault to knock out the oil industries in the area. In their arsenal there are Main Battle Tanks as well as fast-moving Quad Bikes and mobile armored AA. It's a vehicle focused battle, but with plenty of infantry combat.

Modern Warfare fansite bashandslash.com recently reported that Infinity Ward is removing dedicated server functionality from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. With dedicated servers and the server browser that comes with them replaced with custom-built matchmaking, PC gamers will have an online experience functionally identical to console players. Among other things, this means that clans can't run their own servers with their own mods and rulesets for their own private (or public, if they feel like crushing some scrubs for giggles) use.

October 7, 2009 - If you're a first-person shooter fan, Modern Warfare 2 is hands-down the "next big thing" for 2009 and well beyond. After two full years on the market COD4 is still going strong, gamers (like me) are still logging on every night, and leaderboards are still stacking up with kill/death ratios and winstreaks -- even if people do have to deal with the cheaters out there taking up our top slots all the time.
