Now, after listening to players, IW and Sledgehammer will try the first method again. Modern Warfare 3 will feature free, run-it-yourself COD4-style dedicated server support because the hardcore fans have been very clear (if not terribly polite) in their feedback. I'm skeptical with jumping in head first considering how wonderful COD has been since COD4MW, Black Ops has been a mess for PC gamer's for the majority of it's time on the market. HOWEVER, I am certainly interested in a dedicated server and hopeful that I can again play MP in an environment where we have a predictable level of game performance. For those who may have wondered why I never and have NEVER played a single Black Ops MP game... I'm bullheaded and refuse to play without a dedicated server.
